Because many other software developers offer trial versions of their programs, we are often asked whether a trial version of BibleWorks is available. We do not have a trimmed down, limited function version of the program for a number of reasons, one of which is that one will not get a complete idea of what the program can do from such a version.

Instead, if the program is purchased directly from us (see the ordering instructions here), we offer the program with a 30-day refund offer that provides a period of time in which the full program can be used and evaluated. If, for any reason, the conclusion is reached that a BibleWorks product doesn't meet one's needs, one can uninstall and return that product, in salable condition, to us at this address within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price, less shipping and handling and a US$20 restocking fee for media versions of the program. If nothing tangible has been delivered, as with a downloaded version, uninstalling the software and returning the product activation code is sufficient.  Insuring the parcel, if media are being returned, is a good idea, and including an explanation of why the product is being returned is helpful but not required. Please note that if the program is purchased from one of our dealers the 30-day refund policy may not apply. Contact the dealer directly if there is any question about their return policy before making your purchase. (Dealers are not required to honor the BibleWorks return offer.)

This refund offer also applies to add-on modules obtained directly from BibleWorks.  To return these, send BibleWorks a statement that the module has been uninstalled from your computer and that you have destroyed the activation or unlock code.

BibleWorks will make an immediate refund upon receipt of the returned product either by check or to a customer credit card, whichever the customer prefers. (Because we don't maintain customer credit card data, customers desiring the second option will need to send us the card number and expiration date again, using one of the means outlined here.  The sooner this information is received, the sooner we can process the refund.)
